Difference between a location and a zone

In the Soundsuit platform, a location refers to a specific physical site or business address where you play music, such as a restaurant, store, or office.

Within each location, you can define multiple zones, which are distinct areas where different music streams can be played simultaneously. For example, in a restaurant, you might have separate zones for the dining area and the bar, each with its own music to suit the ambiance. 

Each zone requires its own playback device to manage the music stream for that specific area.

This setup allows you to tailor the musical experience to different parts of your business, enhancing the overall atmosphere for your customers.
