This article explains how to connect Soundsuit to AUDAC using the IMP40 Internet Audio Streaming Module together with an XMP44 host device (or compatible AUDAC host such as R2).
Soundsuit provides a dedicated HTTP streaming URL linked to your Soundsuit account.
1. Requirements
To integrate Soundsuit into AUDAC, you need:
AUDAC IMP40 – Internet Audio Streaming Module
AUDAC XMP44 (or another compatible host device like the AUDAC R2)
A LAN network connection
-
Your dedicated Soundsuit streaming URL (provided by Soundsuit)
2. How the Integration Works
Soundsuit provides a personalized HTTP stream (URL).
The IMP40 continuously fetches this URL and plays the Soundsuit channel through the AUDAC system — similar to how other professional music services are integrated.
3. Step-by-Step Setup Guide
Step 1 — Install the IMP40 Module
Insert the IMP40 module into the slot of the host device (e.g., XMP44).
Power on the host device.
Step 2 — Connect to the Network
Connect the AUDAC device to your network via LAN cable.
Ensure the device has internet connectivity.
Step 3 — Access the Web Interface
Open a browser and enter the IP address of the AUDAC host device.
Navigate to the IMP40 module settings.
Step 4 — Enter the Soundsuit Stream URL
Inside the IMP40 Web UI:
Go to Internet Radio or Custom Stream
Paste your Soundsuit HTTP streaming URL
Save the settings
→ The system will now continuously stream your Soundsuit music channel.
4. How to Receive Your Personal Streaming URL
Once your IMP40 and host device are installed, Soundsuit will generate your personal sound stream.
