Super-Admin Tutorial
This guide explains how Super-Admins (e.g. Soundsuit resellers or installers) can:
create a new client account (brand)
activate their Super-Admin rights for that client
Once completed, the Super-Admin will be able to manage the client’s Soundsuit workspace.
1. Create the Client Account First
As a Super-Admin, you can only manage a client who already has a Soundsuit account.
Therefore, the first step is to create a Soundsuit account for your client (unless they already have one).
If your client already has a Soundsuit account, skip this step and go directly to Step 2.
Creating the account initializes the client workspace, where all locations, users, and music settings will be managed.
Information typically required
Company name
Login email address
Note:
No billing information is required.
Billing is handled through the Super-Admin company, not directly by Soundsuit.
2. Upgrade the Client Account to the Admin Role
The role hierarchy works as follows:
Super-Admin → Brand Admin → Locations / Zones / Users
The Super-Admin manages the Brand Admin, who manages the operational setup.
After creating the client account in Step 1:
Log into the newly created client account.
In the top navigation bar, click the Profile icon.
Select “Admin mode”.
Once this is done, you will have Admin access inside your client’s Soundsuit workspace.
You can now:
create the first location
configure zones
start preparing the client environment.
3. Invite Yourself as Super-Admin
To connect the client account with your Super-Admin account, follow these steps:
Log out of the client account.
Log in again using your Super-Admin account.
On the welcome page, click “Invite new client” (top right corner).
Enter the login email address of the client account created in Step 1.
This links the client workspace to your Super-Admin dashboard.
✅ Result
The client account is now fully configured.
You can now:
manage the client as a Super-Admin
administer their locations, zones, and users
start streaming music in the first location created.
