For users with less than 10 locations:

To realise your wish (i.e. the start and stop programming of the music), we recommend you to acquire a Sonos Port player (if you want to plug a streaming-box directly to your amplifier) or Sonos smart-speakers (if you want to completely replace your current amplifier+speaker sound system), for each of your location.

With Sonos systems, you can use their alert-programming function to start and stop the music at given times of the day. It just about creating a small schedule.

You can buy a Sonos Port at any local retailer, install it yourself, and then add your Soundsuit music service to the system (in a few clicks within the Sonos app. Really easy).

This is how to set up an alert-schedule in the Sonos system:
